Discord-Safety teen charter

This project for Discord was nothing short of incredible! The tech giant aimed to promote the measures taken to protect the platform's younger users and make Discord a safer space. Together with the amazing team at Rocketpanda and Nomint, we created an airplane filled with all sorts of characters, in a beautiful mixed media style soaring through the plurpl-er skies than ever before.

2+3d the magic of mixing
In this crazy world, the airplane interiors and exteriors were a vibrant mix of bi and three-dimensional elements. From modeling to texturing, lighting to compositing, I meticulously crafted each 3D component, guiding its evolution from the original design to final version. Every object was carefully crafted to seamlessly integrate into a richly detailed environment. The ultimate test? Making every detail stand out while trying to seamlessly blend it into the mix.
A camera-based workflow
Believe it or not, every bit of 3D magic in this video was made using Blender. This software gave me an incredible versatility, allowing me to seamlessly blend various assets in real-time. Take, for instance, the mini-golf scene, where the spaceship gracefully navigates through a medley of flat clouds, passengers, 3D illos, and beyond. Crafting scenes that had to work with the camera's perspective rather than the real space was an absolute blast. Dive into the behind-the-scenes to catch a glimpse of the magic in the making!
I sincerely hope you really liked this project's unfolding as much as I did during its creation, immersing myself in the making of this colorful universe. There's so much going on in every frame, all due to our vibrant characters, we had so much fun while bringing them to life.
Throughout the extensive production journey of a project like this, I had the chance to wear multiple hats, including:
