My team and I led four creative proposals, eventually seeing the one where a player drags an entire city with her passion chosen. The result is 16 seconds of beautiful cell animation, a burst of bright colors, and a compelling rhythm from start to finish. Ready to join in?
A game of lights and shadows
It took several weeks to set the style for this project, but in the end, we created a nighttime world where lights, shadows, and colors blend, enhancing each other. The sharp design elements, however, don't take away from the fluidity of the movements. What unfolds in the heart of this city is a choreography that flows smoothly to the stadium, to kick-off.
Behind the scene
In the stadium and bar scenes, I also took on the role of compositor/animator. While much of the project was drawn frame by frame, significant work was done in the background to add noise to all scenes in post-production. In my case, I handled client communication, creative development, stylistic choices, and animations along with my indispensable partner, Riccardo Albertini. Below, I'll share a behind-the-scenes glimpse to give you an idea of the process.
